The best way to preserve and adapt seed genetics is to get seeds into as many hands as possible!
Every variety is labeled: grown in isolation, grown near related varieties and potentially crossed, or deliberately mixed. Each listing tells you how and where it was grown. Read it before you plant.

Are seeds really free?
Our mission is to get seeds into as many hands as possible. Although the seeds are free, you will need to pay for some costs. A $6 fulfillment fee covers the envelope, packet, label, postage, and the time it takes to pack your order. In addition, we ask you to consider making a donation to cover program costs and help fund more seed increases.
When will I receive my seeds?
Orders are packed by hand, usually within a week or two. This program is run by our team of volunteers. We are a small operation and seed goes out as fast as we can pack it. You’ll get an email when your order ships.
