Seed saving is the practice of growing, harvesting, cleaning, and storing seeds from open-pollinated plants.

Today, 60% of the global commercial seed market is controlled by just four multinational corporations.
Over the past century, an estimated 90% of agricultural crop diversity has been lost, leaving our food system increasingly dependent on a narrow range of genetics.
How to get involved
Anyone can become a seed saver!
Request a packet of free seed, grow it out, and save some of what you harvest. You can keep it, share it with your neighbors, or send some back to us so the variety stays in circulation. No experience needed to start.
