About Organic Seed Savers
Our Mission
Organic Seed Savers works to preserve and protect the genetic diversity of seeds while cultivating a community of seed savers dedicated to regenerative agriculture, ecological stewardship, and food sovereignty. Through the free distribution of organic, open-pollinated, and heirloom seeds and through education and demonstration of organic and regenerative growing practices we empower individuals and communities to grow their own food, rebuild soil health, safeguard biodiversity, and strengthen local resilience.
What We Do
Free Seed Distribution
We grow, save, and freely distribute organic, open-pollinated, and heirloom seeds.
Education and Demonstration
We provide classes, workshops and demonstrations that teach seed saving practices to empower individuals and communities to save seeds, grow food, and strengthen local food systems.
Seed Preservation
We conserve agricultural biodiversity by maintaining, growing, and sharing genetically diverse, locally adapted open-pollinated seed through careful cultivation, seed saving, and long-term preservation.
A Community of Seed Savers
We build strong local food systems through seed sharing, collaboration, and community partnerships.
